Education Information for Providers

This page is for education providers (schools). Here, we notify you of recent rule changes, help you locate TREC forms and other documents an education provider needs, and point you to the most relevant provider-related pages.

If you are NOT an education provider (school), the Education Main Page can direct you to one of the areas we have set up especially for course instructors, licensees or applicants.

Very Important Information!

  • Section 535.71(dd) of the Rules of the Commission prohibit an MCE provider from allowing a licensee to complete an online MCE course in less than 24 hours.
  • Section 535.62(g)(6) of the Rules of the Commission requires that online core courses submitted after January 1, 2008 must be certified by a distance learning certification center that is acceptable by the Commission, such as the International Distance Education Certification Center (IDECC). Core online courses previously approved by the Commission must obtain certification if significant revisions to course content are made that require filing of a new course application.

  • Forms for Providers and Instructors

The following forms may be used by current TREC approved education providers. If you would like to become an approved education provider, please access the forms pages below and first read the "General Information" document to become either an MCE (mandatory Continuing education) provider or a Core education provider.
